Food
Healty Food, Healty Living
Food is a metaphor for healthy living. In 2009 our Observatory’s report confirmed that increasingly people consider food to be the most important aspect of a healthy lifestyle; infact, 85% of people asked said that keeping well is intimately linked to what we eat and our lifestyle. Organic food, synonimous with good healthy food, has acquired a certain authority and importance, it is exported and eaten at tables all over the world. SANA is a reference point for the organic world and will be underlining a dual theme of internationalism and quality. The Food & Nutrition section is a shop window for certified products and for new ways of selling; a mirror on the change in the way people are consuming.
Wellbeing
The Pillars of beauty
How we measure beauty is changing in a progressive move away from the worn rules of the cover page. There is a desire for naturalness which is manifest in a need for openness and reassurance, accompanied by regulation. SANA takes these new needs on board and in the large showcase which is Health & Well-being it presents the leading players in this new style well-being: the herbal plants, the guaranteed primary materials for cosmetics and food supplements. It also makes available a space which is rigourously reserved for people in the trade, a place where commercial negotiations sit alongside workshops, where it is possible to share experience and ideas.
The Herbal Zone, so successful in previous editions returns in response to high demand.
Living
Nature in every room
In the home healthy living becomes a way of life. At home we eat, receive friends, listen to the radio, sleep, look after ourselves, play with our children. It is here that our ideas become choices, ways of behaviour, projects. We would like our living spaces to be a kind of synthesis of a way of life which loves being surrounded by beautiful things but chooses to do that in a way which respects the needs of the environment. It is not enough to say environmentally friendly house, often the tools and the know-how are missing. The Living Space proposes furniture, textiles, objects and solutions for a house which doesn’t waste resources, which saves energy, uses materials from renewable sources, uses recycled materials. And lets us look at our living space through new eyes.
