Claudio Franceschi Founder of the “inflammaging” theory of low-grade chronic inflammation as the key feature of the ageing process and the main age-associated diseases, Claudio Franceschi, Professor Emeritus of Bologna University, has authored more than 650 articles in international publications.
He is the coordinator of the European NU-AGE project investigating the effects of nutrition on ageing.
