Minimo Impatto was founded in 2007 with the aim of making eco-sustainable products accessible to everyone. Over the years, demand has increasingly focused on single-use products for the foodservice sector, and today the company is a leading reference point in the Italian compostable disposable products market.
What inspired your participation in SANA Food 2026, and what goals or expectations are guiding you in this new edition?
This is the first time we are taking part in Sana Food, a major event within the organic sector in Italy. Minimo Impatto’s products will certainly play a leading role in this supply chain.
Today’s consumers are increasingly conscious about health and well-being. How has this awareness influenced your production choices or inspired new product concepts?
When selecting a new supplier, we always start from the product’s end of life, which for us is the most important aspect. We consider how it will be disposed of and therefore prioritise products that can be transformed into compost after use.
Tradition and innovation often go hand in hand in a company’s growth journey. How do you manage to honor your roots while giving them a contemporary interpretation?
We are a relatively young company and we strive to bring innovation by starting from advanced raw materials such as Mater-Bi, NatureFlex and PLA, which are plant-based bioplastics.
Transparency, sustainability, and traceability have become essential values in today’s market. How do you bring these principles to life in your distribution practices?
These are our strengths. Established and well-structured clients have always turned to us because they are confident of finding solutions that meet their needs, especially in terms of quality and certifications.
