The findings show that women are on average more informed and active on issues related to sustainability, especially as far as for food, energy and trade sectors. 58% of women said it favored the purchase of bulk products as a solution to make cities more livable and 65% of the females surveyed supported building upgrades and switching to renewables. 22% of the respondents also claimed to consume organic foods habitually, and 30 percent avoided using the car, preferring alternative means of transport with less environmental impact, compared to 21 % of men.
