Rango – Bontà di Calabria is an artisanal company based in Cassano allo Ionio, founded to promote Calabrian dried figs and seasonal confectionery. We provide high-quality products to wine shops, delicatessens, and specialty stores. Our mission is to combine Calabrian tradition with artisanal care in every product.

What inspired your participation in SANA Food 2026, and what goals or expectations are guiding you in this new edition?

We participate in SANA Food 2026 to showcase our work and Calabrian confectionery tradition to a national and international audience. Our main goal is to establish new partnerships with selected distributors and importers, presenting high-quality products such as dried figs, candied fruit, and seasonal specialties.

Today’s consumers are increasingly conscious about health and well-being. How has this awareness influenced your production choices or inspired new product concepts?

Consumers’ growing focus on health and wellness has led us to select natural, high-quality raw materials while avoiding unnecessary preservatives and additives. We have developed seasonal products, such as dried figs and candied fruit, that deliver authentic taste and genuineness, meeting the demand for healthier sweets without compromising tradition.

Tradition and innovation often go hand in hand in a company’s growth journey. How do you manage to honor your roots while giving them a contemporary interpretation?

We enhance the artisanal techniques of Calabrian dried figs by integrating modern processes to ensure quality and safety. This allows us to offer products with authentic taste, combined with packaging and seasonal lines designed for the contemporary market and professional buyers.
