What inspired your participation in SANA Food 2026, and what goals or expectations are guiding you in this new edition?

Our participation in SANA Food 2026 stems from the desire to position Livasì artisanal cured meats in a context that celebrates excellence and well-being. The primary goal is networking: we wish to connect with distributors and partners who share our ethical vision. We also expect to intercept new consumption trends to continue innovating our offer in line with the needs of the global market

Today’s consumers are increasingly conscious about health and well-being. How has this awareness influenced your production choices or inspired new product concepts?

This awareness is part of our DNA: we have always avoided nitrites, nitrates, and gluten. The demand for well-being has pushed us to perfect natural seasoning techniques and to select leaner cuts, guaranteeing a product that is a pleasure for the palate but also respectful of the organism, keeping the shelf-life intact thanks to the intrinsic quality of the raw material.

Tradition and innovation often go hand in hand in a company’s growth journey. How do you manage to honor your roots while giving them a contemporary interpretation?

Our roots are in Spilinga, where we still follow the slow rhythms of nature. Innovation intervenes in quality control processes and in packaging: we have introduced more practical and modern formats, such as 'Nduja jars, to make our ancient flavors usable in contemporary kitchens all over the world, without ever compromising on the original recipe.

Transparency, sustainability, and traceability have become essential values in today’s market. How do you bring these principles to life in your distribution practices?

We translate these values through the digitalization of the supply chain. Every cured meat is traced from the field to the table. We use exclusively compostable or easily recyclable packaging, ensuring total consistency between what we produce and how we deliver it.
