Sybaris Terra Mia was founded in 2020 in Cassano allo Ionio, in the heart of the Sibari Plain in Calabria, as a family project by Salvatore Vocaturi and Simona Pricoli. We produce and process Calabrian food specialties through a short and controlled supply chain. Our mission is to promote authentic, sustainable products strongly connected to our territory and traditions.

What inspired your participation in SANA Food 2026, and what goals or expectations are guiding you in this new edition?

We decided to participate in SANA Food 2026 because it represents a context that fully reflects our values: quality, sustainability and supply-chain awareness. For us, this is an important opportunity for growth and dialogue with professionals looking for authentic and traceable products. Our goal is to present our production identity, build strong business relationships and develop new B2B collaborations both in Italy and abroad.

Today’s consumers are increasingly conscious about health and well-being. How has this awareness influenced your production choices or inspired new product concepts?

The search for healthier and more conscious food choices has always been part of our philosophy. We select quality raw materials and process them respecting natural timing, avoiding preservatives and focusing on simple and recognizable recipes. This growing awareness has strengthened our commitment to transparency and to creating genuine products that combine taste, quality and everyday well-being.

Tradition and innovation often go hand in hand in a company’s growth journey. How do you manage to honor your roots while giving them a contemporary interpretation?

Our roots lie in Calabrian rural culture and family recipes, which remain the foundation of our products. Innovation concerns how we organize production and maintain high standards of quality and food safety. We strive to balance authenticity and modernity, preserving traditional flavors while presenting them in a way that meets contemporary market expectations.

Transparency, sustainability, and traceability have become essential values in today’s market. How do you bring these principles to life in your distribution practices?

We directly oversee the main stages of our supply chain, from production to processing in our in-house laboratory, ensuring control and traceability. In distribution, we focus on selected partnerships based on trust and shared values. Our growth is gradual and sustainable, allowing us to maintain consistency, reliability and strong product identity.
