SANA Food confirms its commitment to the fight against food waste through its collaboration with the Fondazione Banco Alimentare Emilia-Romagna ETS, turning gastronomic excellence into tangible support for people in need.

SANA Food turns taste into solidarity

At the end of the event, food products brought by exhibitors and left unused will be collected at the dedicated point in Hall 18 and donated to the Foundation. A simple yet meaningful action that gives new life to food that is still perfectly fit for consumption.
The agreement represents a concrete example of how the agri-food sector can generate not only economic value, but also social value. Each donated product becomes part of a network of solidarity involving companies, organizers, and visitors alike, further strengthening the bond between SANA Food and the local community.

Food as a social value

Fondazione Banco Alimentare Emilia-Romagna ETS is part of the national Banco Alimentare network and operates throughout the region by recovering surplus food that is still perfectly edible and distributing it free of charge to Caritas organizations, solidarity food stores, and soup kitchens. Thanks to the daily contribution of volunteers and partner organizations, it turns waste into a concrete resource, supporting thousands of people in need and promoting initiatives such as the National Food Collection Day.

Through this collaboration, SANA Food further strengthens its commitment to an increasingly sustainable and responsible event model.
