We are a production company that cultivates, processes, and directly markets organic herbal teas and herbs, located in a protected Alpine area in Valposchiavo, Switzerland. Our products hold a dual certification: organic and high-mountain. Our distinguishing value lies in the uniqueness of our products, superior quality, and a zero-kilometer supply chain.
What motivated you to participate in SANA Food 2026, and what expectations or goals are guiding you in this new edition?
Sana Food is a showcase for organic products, and it is essential for us to introduce the Raselli brand (which supplies organic herbs for Ricola) to Italy. Currently, the brand is only known in Switzerland.
Today’s consumers are increasingly attentive to health and wellness. How has this awareness influenced your production choices or inspired new offerings?
Raselli Bio has always operated following the essence of organic principles: from soil preparation, to cultivation, to harvesting and final processing of the herbs. Every step is fundamental to delivering high-quality products to the end customer. The unique taste and aroma of our herbal teas are the natural result of this commitment.
Tradition and innovation are often intertwined in a company’s growth journey. How do you highlight your roots while interpreting them in a contemporary way?
The owner, Dr. Reto Raselli, has integrated a technological approach into our drying machinery, which operates at very low temperatures to preserve the integrity and natural aromas of the herbs. Harvesting remains entirely manual and takes place directly in the company’s fields, ensuring superior product quality.
Transparency, sustainability, and traceability are now essential values. How do you apply these values in your distribution practices?
Transparency, sustainability, and traceability are core values for Raselli. The entire process follows strict procedures and quality standards; containers are fully sustainable, and primary packaging is free from chemical treatments. Distribution takes place either by road with trucks, via the rail network, or collected directly by the end customer.
