RIVOLUZIONE BIO 2026
ORGANIC FARMING BETWEEN PRESENT AND FUTURE
RIVOLUZIONE BIO – The General Assembly of Organic Farming is the key institutional forum for the Italian organic sector and represents the most authoritative and awaited event to take stock of the present and future of organic farming.
As part of SANA Food 2026, the event - promoted by BolognaFiere and organised in collaboration with FederBio and AssoBio, with scientific coordination by Nomisma and the support of ITA – Italian Trade Agency - brings together institutions, public decision-makers, companies, experts and stakeholders for a structured and high-level discussion on the state of the organic sector.
Rivoluzione BIO is the place where organic farming is analysed in a comprehensive way: figures, market data, trends, policies, supply chains, consumption patterns and development prospects. It is a key appointment for understanding the evolution of the sector and for defining shared strategies to strengthen the role of organic farming within agriculture, the economy and the country’s food systems.
An institutional dialogue on organic farming, today and tomorrow
The 2026 edition once again confirms itself as a space for dialogue and strategic vision, designed to address organic farming in all its dimensions, from data analysis to the interpretation of ongoing changes in markets and consumption.
The event will be structured into two working sessions:
- Morning Session – SANA Survey
The morning will be dedicated to the SANA Survey, the official presentation of the most up-to-date data on the organic sector and market, with an in-depth analysis of economic dynamics, consumption trends and development opportunities.
A crucial moment to provide a clear snapshot of the current state of organic farming and to guide future choices.
- Afternoon Session – Organic in the Out-of-Home Channel
In the afternoon, the discussion will focus on the strategic role of the out-of-home (away-from-home) channel in the growth of organic farming, exploring the relationship between Italian cuisine, foodservice and extra-domestic consumption.
A dedicated focus on one of the key areas for expanding the presence of organic products and strengthening their cultural and economic value.
