We are a Sicilian farm, young but with deep roots. For three generations, we have been cultivating organic sesame of Ispica, a Slow Food Presidia since 2016, and for a few years we have also been producing delicious artisanal sesame-based products made with local ingredients. Our mission is to enhance an ancient ingredient with quality, authenticity, and respect for the territory.

What inspired your participation in SANA Food 2026, and what goals or expectations are guiding you in this new edition?

We are participating in SANA Food 2026 because we believe it represents an excellent showcase for high-quality products. Our goal is to highlight the value of our products, meet buyers and industry professionals, establish new collaborations, and promote Sicilian tradition and the sustainable supply chain that defines our company.

Today’s consumers are increasingly conscious about health and well-being. How has this awareness influenced your production choices or inspired new product concepts?

We cultivate sesame of Ispica using organic and traditional methods, entirely by hand, and for a few years we have been producing artisanal sesame-based products with local ingredients, without additives or added oils, preserving the nutritional properties of our sesame. This philosophy has inspired us to create versatile, healthy, and authentic products, ideal for those who want to follow a natural diet without compromising on taste.

Tradition and innovation often go hand in hand in a company’s growth journey. How do you manage to honor your roots while giving them a contemporary interpretation?

The cultivation of organic sesame of Ispica is still carried out by hand, following techniques passed down through generations and respecting the biodiversity of the territory. At the same time, the transformation of the seeds into products such as tahina, snacks, and sweet spreads is done with state-of-the-art machinery, which allows us to preserve flavour, nutritional properties, and quality. In this way, we combine family experience with technological precision and safety, creating products that are authentic, sustainable, and contemporary, capable of conveying Sicilian traditions to a public increasingly attentive to healthy eating.

Transparency, sustainability, and traceability have become essential values in today’s market. How do you bring these principles to life in your distribution practices?

From the field to the processing of finished products, we personally oversee every stage of production, using environmentally friendly farming practices and modern machinery that preserves the natural properties of our seeds.
