Behind every honey lies a territory to be interpreted and communicated—an identity that deserves to be recognized and enhanced. At SANA Food, buyers will discover how to turn this richness into perceived quality and market value.

Italian honey is not just delicious: it stands for quality, identity, and value. And this is exactly what today’s market is asking for—authentic, recognizable honeys capable of telling the story of their place of origin from the very first taste.

To meet this demand, SANA Food will host a tailor-made masterclass designed for Italian and international buyers seeking to select truly distinctive products.

Leading the session “Italian Honey: Quality, Value, and Recognizability” will be Maria Lucia Piana, a leading authority in honey sensory analysis. On 23 February at 12:00 PM (Hall 18 – OoH Lab!), she will guide participants through a professional tasting focused on the main Italian honey varieties. A journey through aromas, sensory profiles, and objective quality criteria, aimed at understanding how to recognize authentic honey and how to enhance it effectively within a commercial offering.

Participants in the session—organized by the National Honey Observatory in collaboration with Honey Ambassadors—will receive a personalized tasting kit and additional technical materials, turning this experience into immediately applicable operational tools.

An unmissable appointment for those who want to make informed choices, anticipate new market demands, and offer truly distinctive honeys.

Participation is by registration: available spaces are limited (some are reserved for Italian and international buyers).
